It's been a stellar week here in Waller and things are still
rolling with Elder Blackford and I.
This week the assistants committed us to set 7
baptismal dates as a zone. We ended up setting 7 as a zone to show the great
unity and faith that's being built here in the Houston West North Zone. We have
14 baptismal dates for the month of April as a zone which is the 2nd most out
of the 12 zones in the mission.
On Thursday we were able to set a baptismal date with
Norberto's wife Vanessa for April 30th! She hesitated a little bit at first but
then we told her that it was more like a goal, and if God gave her an answer
before April 30th that all this was true, then she would be ready to be baptized.
She accepted that and both her and Norberto watched General Conference on
Sunday and seemed to like it a lot.
Wilson is still doing really well. He likes to read in the
Book of Mormon and feels as though he knows it's true. He came to the
priesthood Session and liked it a lot. Said he didn't understand a few things
but that he felt good as he watched it.
All in all we are having a blast out here and the members
are feeling the energy and all have desires to help us and share the Gospel
with their friends.
